Today our Vice President, Lion Phillip Jesson, attended the Hilden Oaks Preparatory School & Nursery Harvest Festival service at St Saviours Church. Reverend Wendy Carr conducted the service which included junior and senior choirs, their orchestra and ukulele ensemble. The school has once again kindly donated the “harvest” foodstuff to our annual Christmas distribution of hampers for those less fortunate in our community. Lion Phillip personally thanked the School Head, Katy Joiner and all the staff involved with the event.
Lion Sec. Gordon Hill also attended and helped Lion Phillip “gather in” and take the harvest to safe storage, awaiting the hamper packing of Lion Allan Mort & his wife Jackie.
