Lions Day outing for Refugees

On our annual “Lions Day”, we organised a day out with a difference. Helped with transport by Compaid and assistance from Tonbridge Welcomes Refugees, we took 30 Ukrainian refugees to Bedgebury National Pinetum where we provided them with tickets to Go Ape and cycle hire. A picnic lunch was provided and our guests were able to enjoy the forest and playgrounds before we returned them to Tonbridge.
