Tonbridge Lions Club Community Fête and Parade 2026
Sunday 26th July at Tonbridge School
This year, the theme is...
"Sport for All"

BE PART OF THE PARADE!
Dress as your sporting hero. Show off your club. Celebrate your sport.
Join our parade, led by the popular samba band Bloco Fogo through Tonbridge town centre and on to the Summer Fete at Tonbridge School's Upper Hundred.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Everyone! Sports clubs, teams, gyms, schools (nursery to college), youth groups (Scouts, Guides, Cadets), community groups, charities, local businesses, families, and individuals.
You can take part as an individual, with a group of friends, as a family, or as part of an organised group. Everyone is welcome!
THE ROUTE:
River Walk → Big Bridge → High Street → Bordyke → Tonbridge School Upper Hundred
📍 Form up: River Walk (adjacent to former HSBC Bank) at 11:30am
🎺 Step off: Behind the Bloco Foco band at 12 noon

GET INVOLVED BEYOND THE PARADE:
This is a brilliant opportunity to promote your sport and recruit new members!
✓ Run a stall at the fete for fundraising or recruitment
✓ Host a sporting challenge - "Beat the Goalie", netball shoot, fitness challenge, putting, bowls, etc.
✓ Enter a team competition - we're planning our fun “Gutter Game”!
✓ Advertise in our programme - reach thousands of local families

Young and vulnerable participants are encouraged to join the parade accompanied by appropriate adults, parents and carers.
The new venue for the Community Fete is the very sports-conscious TONBRIDGE SCHOOL - an exciting opportunity to showcase your activities!
