Tonbridge Lions Club are pleased to support the West Kent Hygiene Bank with a £750 donation towards supplying 76 wash bags filled with essential items such as toothpaste, shaving foam etc, through to laundry detergent. On Tuesday 6 January 2026, Trevor King, owner of Twice Recall , was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for Dedicated and Humanitarian Services, the highest honour awarded by the Lions Clubs International Foundation. As part of our Tonbridge Lions Community Programme, we’re delighted to have presented a new defibrillator to Corpus Christi Church in Lyons Crescent. It’s now installed outside the Fisher Hall, where it can be easily accessed by both parishioners and the local community in case of emergency. Lions President Phil Jesson joined Father Philip de Freitas and Maura Branch, a member of the congregation, for the handover on 16th October 2025.
