Tonbridge Lions club was the first Lions club to be formed in the UK in 1949 and remains one of the largest in the country. We support local charities, good causes and disadvantaged individuals. Throughout the year we put on a varied programme of fundraising and social events for the enjoyment of the community in Tonbridge and surrounding areas. Every penny raised is put to good causes and local charities.

 

We are part of Lions International, the largest and most active service organisation in the world with over 1,400,000 members in over 190 countries. The membership comprises those people who wish to give something back to the community, who enjoy working with others for the benefit of those less fortunate than themselves and who with their partners enjoy social activities with others.
