The Tonbridge Vaccination Centre closed its doors for the final time at 6.00pm on Tuesday. As part of its Service to the Community, Tonbridge Lions and other volunteers have helped steward the centre, since its opening in December 2021. They braved all types of weather, to ensure that the vaccination process ran smoothly. In all, the team manned 515 shifts, dealing with patients of all ages. Special mention must be made of the NHS team, who showed great understanding in the needs and worries of those who were being vaccinated.
