Support for Girls' Sport at Hillview School
Tonbridge Lions Club was delighted to present a donation to Tonbridge Flow Ultimate and Hillview Ultimate Frisbee Club at Hillview School for Girls.
Immediate Past President Phil Jesson presented the cheque to coaches, school representatives and students who are taking part in an exciting new sports initiative designed specifically for girls aged 11-14.
The programme aims to encourage more young women to participate in sport, improve health and wellbeing, and provide opportunities for female leadership through coaching and mentoring.
Our donation will help fund essential equipment including training discs, cones, agility equipment, kit bags and 30 custom training jerseys featuring the Tonbridge Lions logo.
A special thanks to Hillview School for supporting the project by providing facilities for training sessions throughout the year, and to the dedicated coaches and volunteers making this inspiring initiative a reality.
We are proud to support a project that will benefit young people across our community and help more girls stay active, confident and engaged in sport.
