Tonbridge Lions Support Hilden Oaks Harvest Festival Donations

On Wednesday 14 October, Vice-President Lion Tom Simmons attended the Hilden Oaks School Harvest Festival Service at St Saviour's Church, accompanied by his wife Vanessa and fellow Lion Trevor Dalladay.

During the service, pupils donated a substantial collection of food items as part of the school's Harvest Festival celebrations. Following the service, members of Tonbridge Lions transported the donations to the FEAST Food Bank at the Methodist Church, where they were gratefully received before being distributed to individuals and families experiencing hardship in the local community.

Lion Tom Simmons said: "Tonbridge Lions would like to thank everyone at Hilden Oaks School for making us so welcome and for their generosity in supporting this worthy cause. The commitment shown by the pupils, staff and families will make a real difference to people in need within our community."

Tonbridge Lions are proud to support local initiatives that bring communities together and provide practical help to those facing difficult circumstances.
