Christmas Barrel Organ Raises Over £3,000

The Lions Barrel Organ was once again a familiar and welcome sight and sound around Tonbridge in the weeks leading up to Christmas, helping to spread festive cheer while raising vital funds for the local community.

Thanks to the generosity of local shoppers, over £3,000 was collected. These funds were used to provide much-needed support to families and individuals in need across Tonbridge.

With the additional and welcome support of a grant from the Lawson Trust, more than 500 local residents benefited from food vouchers, which were distributed through local food banks to ensure help reached those who needed it most during the holiday period.

This fantastic response from the community shows the true spirit of Christmas in Tonbridge. We are extremely grateful to everyone who donated and to the Lawson Trust for their invaluable support in helping us reach so many people.
