Lion Allan Mort and his wife Jackie have once again been busy making up Christmas food hampers. This year 90 hampers were made reaching over 300 people in the Tonbridge area. The money is raised from the proceeds of the Barrel Organ collection in the town over the Christmas period. The hampers were distributed to Tonbridge groups, schools and people nominated by members of Tonbridge Lions Club.
Our thanks go to Hilden Oaks Preparatory School & Nursery and Leigh Primary for their Harvest Festival products and to Hugh Christie School Sixth Form for providing the mince pies and for all those involved in the distribution of the hampers.
Photos show hamper delivery to Longmead and Woodgate Schools. They are also always appreciated by many Local organisations, schools, local people and in particular the recipients of the foodstuff
