Tonbridge Lion President Phil Jesson and his wife Jo, joined by three fellow Lions and their partners, were delighted to attend the annual Christmas Nativity and Blessing at the Leybourne Grange Riding Centre for the Disabled (LGRCD) on 5th December.
A large and enthusiastic audience enjoyed festive performances from the Leybourne Primary School choir and The Malling School orchestra, along with captivating contributions from riders and volunteers of the Centre. The traditional nativity play, complete with the authentic sights, sounds, and unmistakable charm of horses and sheep, created a heart-warming start to the Christmas season. Guests also enjoyed delicious refreshments and hot drinks provided by the Centre.
Continuing a long-standing tradition of support, the Tonbridge Lions ‘pride’ presented a donation cheque to Jo Fletcher, Manager of LGRCD, to assist the Centre’s invaluable community work. Tonbridge Lions Club is proud to continue its support of Leybourne Grange Riding Centre and celebrates the dedication of all those who contribute to making this annual event such a meaningful and joyful occasion.
