Community Service Award Presented to Tonbridge Grammar School Student

On Wednesday 8 July 2026, Tonbridge Lions Club was delighted to present a Community Service Award to Anna Clews, a student at Tonbridge Grammar School, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the local community.
Anna has demonstrated a strong commitment to helping others, giving her time and energy to support activities that make a real difference in and around Tonbridge. Her dedication, reliability, and positive attitude embody the spirit of community service that Tonbridge Lions Club is proud to encourage and celebrate.
The presentation took place at Tonbridge Grammar School, where Immediate Past President Lion Phil Jesson and his wife Jo met with Anna and school staff to mark the occasion. A commemorative certificate and vouchers were awarded as a token of appreciation for Anna’s efforts and to acknowledge the example she sets for her peers.
Tonbridge Lions Club regularly recognises young people who go above and beyond in serving their school and wider community. By highlighting their achievements, the Club hopes to inspire more students to get involved in volunteering and community projects.
